Laminate Repairs

Cracks, Dents or Breaks: Laminate surfaces can crack, dent or break when heavy and sharp objects fall on to them. If your laminate has smaller cracks, you should get the repair done as quickly as possible.
If left unrepaired, small cracks can become large cracks over time, resulting in broken planks and panels. Broken planks can’t be repaired. 
Burns are another common repair -  pans placed on a work surface, candles, cigarettes etc can easily cause a burn mark in your laminate, leaving an unsightly mark.

Laminate finishes are popular because it’s cheaper than wood or stone, easy to install, easy to clean and available in a wide range of colours and finishes.
However, despite its toughness, scratches and chips are common and, against the smooth appearance, such damage can be very noticeable.

It is possible to replace damaged pieces of laminate, but it requires a great deal of precision to get this right and not something we would undertake.
Laminate chip and scratch repair is a cost-effective alternative.

If your laminate needs repairing, get it done as soon as possible, as putting off repairs can cost you more in future. When ignored, minor laminate damage can become worse and may need complete uninstallation and reinstallation of floorboards or a whole new kitchen worktop - expensive. 
Water damage, (blown panels) especially at the joints on flooring cannot be repaired.
